Blowncentless Team

Being born into a drag racing family made it easy to know what kind of excitement I was going to have in my life early on. My parents got me off dirt bikes as soon as possible to keep from breaking too much stuff, mechanical and bodily. My first dragster came before I was 16. Then a slingshot type when I was in the Army working on tanks at Ft Leonard Wood, Mo. I was one of the original members of the Southwest Superchargers and the first to win an SWSC points championship. I graduated to funny cars, big blocks, and nitromethane all at once. What an eye-opener that was! So now, after working for the same White Sands Missile Range contractor with track vehicles for 25+ years, I'm still driving and building that funny car with my wife and my family as team members. Still a thrill and still learning to manage equipment, horsepower, and daily life as a race family. Who's luckier? And always trying to represent my local Alamogordo, NM, and make my community proud.
